Bought as a yearling from Kentchurch in 1987. The eldest of 3 full sisters, the others being the top ridden mares Kentchurch Rhapsody and Kentchurch Request. Whisper was shown lightly and successfully in hand as a youngster, including 1st SEWPCA, 2nd Kent County, 2nd Newbury. She went to RWAS in hand as a 4 year old and was placed 5th in a very strong barren mare class behind some of the great mares of the breed. I then broke her and rode her hacking, showing and dressage, and my daughter taught her to jump. Whisper has won and been placed in flat ridden showing (winning both a Kingsford qualifier and an Olympia qualifier with me on top), M&M WHP (including qualifying for the NPS "semi-final" at Malvern), dressage, HT and ODE. She was also Lexy's mount for the PC B test and Riding and Road Safety test. In 1997 the decision was taken for Whisper to have a dedicated showing season, produced by Carol Isaac and ridden by her daughter Delyn. They had a marvellous year, the highlights being Ridden Champion at the RWAS, qualifying for Olympia at the Three Counties Show, and qualifying for the P(UK) Kingsford Final at Peterborough where she won her section.

She was then retired to stud, had four beautiful palomino offspring and has now sadly had to be retired from further breeding on health grounds.
